Missing Sodus Well the warm temps are finally back. (Ralph and Betty Everdyke can stay up North after all.) Soon, there will be concerts at Sodus Point, people feeding the ducks and going for walks along the beach. Tonight is the Donkey Basketball game at the Sodus High Field House at 7:30 p.m. Sounds like one you can't miss. Sodus Point will have its Community Garage sale on Saturday. (Better get there early.) And on Sunday (June l0), the Sodus Center Fire Hall has a chicken BBQ from noon until sold out. In Williamson on Saturday, you can get chicken barbecue at the First Baptist Church on E. Main St. The take-out dinners will be available from noon to 3 and will benefit the Williamson Wildcats Soccer Club. The last days of school are quickly coming upon us, students and teachers alike are definitely ready for the vacation. The Sodus Primary School on Tuesday, June 12 will have an Ice Cream Social for Volunteers from 6-8 p.m. in the Cafeteria. Thursday, June 14 is the Pre-K Graduation at 5:30 p.m. (Seems like yesterday my daughter was standing up on that stage.) Friday, June 15 is Fair Day, which is always a lot of fun. The Intermediate School will have Olympic Day on Tuesday, June 12 from 6 to 7 p.m. Also on that day is the 6th Grade Parent Orientation day. Thursday, June 14, the Student Council will go on their field trip to Darien Lake and the 6th graders will have Intramurals. Friday, June 15, the 5th grade will have their Fair Haven trip. (I remember that like it was yesterday - seems we went with the third grade, though. Mr. Toner went fishing with the kids) Also on Friday, Grade 6 will be going to Seabreeze. (The halls will be empty that day.)
