Civil War Encampment at Heritage Square
Come spend this weekend with the 140th Civil War Living History group as they demonstrate a Civil War encampment. The participants, dressed in period clothing, will demonstrate how newly-enlisted men were introduced to becoming soldiers. Watch how the new men were trained and how they lived and see how the families lived on the fringe of the solder's campsite. It is authentic, exciting and educational for the whole family.
Join us for 'Civil War' activities, talk to a doctor, see a ladies' fashion show, cooking, quilting, and hand crafts.
Location: Heritage Square Museum, 7147 Ontario Center Road (Route 350), Ontario (2 miles north of Route 104).
