Lyons baccalaureate set at St. Michael's There will be a Baccalaureate Service for graduating seniors, the Class of 2001, of the Lyons Central School on Thursday, June 21 at 7:30 p.m. The ecumenical worship service, will be held at the St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Lyons. The hosting pastor is the Rev. Bill Barrett. The Rev. Jim Carroll of the United Methodist Church will preach and area clergy will participate. A reception for the graduates and their families will follow in St. Michael's parish hall. The reception is being hosted by members of the Lyons Presbyterian Church. Everyone is welcome! The service will feature an ecumenical choir of adults and youth. Graduating seniors: Kyle Clark, Erica Gansz, Kristen Lowe and Blake Marshall will also contribute their musical talents. The ecumenical choir will be directed by. Camille Clark of Lyons and anyone who would like to sing in the service is invited to come to a rehearsal at the church on Wednesday, June 20 at 7 p.m. and again prior to the service on Thursday, June 21st at 6:45. St. Michael's is located on the corner of Holley and Phelps Streets in Lyons. The main entrance to the church is handicapped accessible (but not the downstairs church hall).
