Royal Court of Wayne County Fair

2001 Wayne County Fair Queen and Court: Elizabeth Moll, first runner-up Leia Barkman, Queen Jessica Bryant, Stephanie Mouton and Brandy Pollot.

Jessica Bryant, 17, a junior at Newark High School is the 2001 Wayne County Fair Queen.

Jessica competed with nine other girls between the ages of 15-17 for the crown.

She is the daughter of Karen and Russ Watson of Newark. Jessica is a member of National Honor Society, Student Council, Varsity Club, Peer Mediation and Math Team. Future plans are to attend college and a career in psychology.

Chosen as First Runner Up was Leia Barkman, 16, the daughter of Debbie and Don Chase of Macedon. Leia is a sophomore at Palmyra-Macedon High School.

Second Runner Up is Elizabeth Moll, a sophomore at Webster High School. Elizabeth, 15 is the daughter of Pamela and Thomas Moll of Webster.

Stephanie Mouton of Marion is the Third Runner Up. Stephanie, 17, is the daughter of Vicki and David French of Marion and  Stephen Mouton of Palmyra. She is a junior at Marion.

Fair Princesses: Jennifer Flye, an 8th grader at Wayne Middle School, is the 2001 County Fair Princess. She competed with 24 contestants (ages 12-14). Jennifer, 14, daughter Colleen and Dennis Flye of Walworth, is a member of TCA Friends of Music and Community Service Club. She enjoys playing basketball and volleyball.

Princess First Runner Up is Lindsay Ormiston, 13, of Palmyra. This Pal-Mac 8th grader is the daughter of Susan and James Ormiston of Palmyra.

Second Runner Up went to Amanda Lennox, 14, a Marion freshman, the daughter of Kathy and David Lennox.

princess court Third Runner Up is Marion freshman Suzanna DeFisher, 14, daughter of Cheryl and Marvin DeFisher.

2001 County Fair Princess and Court: Lindsay Ormiston, Fair Princess Jennifer Flye, Suzanna DeFsher, Amanda Lennox

Brandy Pollot, 16, is Miss Congeniality. The Marion sophomore was chosen by all the contestants. She is the daughter of Linda and Brian Pollot.

Pre-pageant activities included a welcome group photo session, pizza party and fun and games party. All contestants received training on interviewing, public speaking and modeling. Many local businesses donated gifts and gift certificates to the contestants and winners.

The Queen and Princess and Courts will reign over the 2001 Wayne County Fair, August 13-18 in Palmyra.
