Sodus Point Park to open

A tradition that goes back many years continues with the opening of Sodus Point Park to swimmers.

Tuesday, June 26 is opening day at Sodus Point Park. Lifeguards will be manning their chairs at both the Lakeside and Bayside Beaches.

The hours of operation in June and July are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Come out and enjoy one of Wayne County's beautiful places.

Have a picnic lunch under the pavilion and take a dip in the Lake Ontario waters, or just bring a book and relax on the sandy beach.
