Lighthouse Kiddie Parade this Saturday

Shine up your tricycles for the Lighthouse Kiddie Parade on June 30.

The Sodus Point Lighthouse Museum will sponsor a second annual Kiddie Parade on Saturday, June 30. Line-up and judging begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Sodus Point Community Center. The Kiddie Parade begins at 11 a.m., ending at the Lighthouse Museum, 7606 Ontario St.

Prizes will be given in the following categories:

cartoon characters;

animals;

historic figures;

a miscellaneous category;

and trikes, bikes and wagons.

Age groups are three to five, six to ten, and 11 to 13.

Every child will receive a certificate and small surprise gift for participation, and refreshments will be served at the Lighthouse.

Please note that June 30 is the correct date; fliers circulated in Sodus Central School had an incorrect date.
