Lyons church marks Scout Sunday

On Sunday, March 11, The First Presbyterian Church of Lyons will recognize and celebrate the Girl Scouts of Lyons during the service of worship. All Girl Scouts and their leaders are invited to attend in uniform.

The Rev. Cynthia Huling Hummel (a former Girl Scout) will preach. Her sermon is titled 'Under Her Wings.'

The choir, under the direction of Camille Clark, is preparing special music. A time of fellowship will follow the 10 a.m. worship service.

The church is located at the corner of Queen and Broad Streets.
