Karissa DePoint presented the Ministry of Music at the second Reformed Church on March 4, offering Psalm 42 in the Dutch Language. This day was the Church's 91st anniversary.

Did you realize that if you put aside $3 a day from the age 20 to 60 years that you would accumulate one million dollars?

Bea Schultz is recovering from recent eye surgery.

Thanks! to all who attended the United Church's Chicken and Biscuit supper. Proceeds will be shared with worthy causes.

Pearl and Hank Ververs of the Marion Road had their family all at home on Sunday to celebrate Debbie's birthday and their grandson Jimmy's 16th birthday.

'Remember the three B's. Be careful, be good and be home early.'

The Recreation Department will be sponsoring a Girl's. Basketball Camp at the High School July 30 August 2. The camp, costing $40, will be for grades 4-11 and will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fee will include instruction and a camp T-shirt. Registration forms are available at the Town Hall and at the high school.

Art students will be displaying artwork at Eastview Hall from March 12-18. This is the sixth annual student art show held at Eastview Mall, and Marion is proud to display artwork each year in this exhibit.

The Marion Elementary Science Exposition will be held in the elementary school auditorium with many more participants the last year. School wide projects and class display will be presented at all grade levels. The displays will not be judged. Instead, each participant or group will receive recognition and certificates The Expo will be open to the community the evening of March 15 from 6 to 7:30. Mark your calendars for this event.

The date of the Winter Sports Award ceremony has been changed from March 8 to March 12.

MARCH 14, 1914: This town was cut off from communication with the outside world all day Monday. No trains running and no mail received. Tuesday night the first mail was brought overland by Mr. Tellier. Efforts were made Tuesday and Wednesday morning to unearth the railroad from the snow banks and the first train which left here since Saturday made the trip Wednesday afternoon. Rural mail carriers were unable to get over their routes for several days.

Reminder: Marion High School Musical is Will Rogers Follies, March 9 and 10 at 8 p.m. at the high school.
