Lyons group to visit Newark clock museum

The Lyons Heritage Society will hold the Monday, March 19 meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Newark Public Library, 120 High Street, Newark. Members who wish to carpool should meet at the Hotchkiss Building in Lyons at 7 p.m.

Members will meet in the Community Room (downstairs) at the library, for a brief introduction by Museum Curator Anthony Prasil. They will then move upstairs to the Hoffman Clock Museum for a tour.

learn more! The Museum was established by the Hoffman foundation in the 1950's. Augustus and Jennie D. Hoffman of Newark owned the core collection of the Hoffman Clock Museum.

The museum is open during regular library hours. Admission is free.
