Marion recruits teens for Explorer Post

The Marion Fire Department is recruiting men and women between the ages of 14 and 19 who are interested in exploring the fire and emergency service here in Marion and becoming the pioneers' of our new firematics explorer post.

We will be having a great time training with the fire and medical equipment, visiting equipment shows, enjoying overnight camps at the MS Fire Academy, all the while learning to help our neighbors in their time of need

Members of Explorer Post 5910 will receive work uniforms as well as firefighting 'turnout gear' and they will be expected to perform as capable, trained fire and rescue personnel.
