Babysitting course planned at Newark library

The Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross will offer a babysitting course on April 13 and 14 from 10 to 2 at the Public Library on High Street in Newark.

Participants will learn basic responsibilities of babysitting, growth and development of children, feeding and changing techniques, how to handle emergency situations, and first aid skills. Students must be at least 11 years of age.
