Newark Scouts plan blood drive

Newark Girl Scouts and leaders will host a blood drive on Saturday, March 31, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Palmyra VFW, Route 31.

Please help boost the blood supply. Volunteer blood donors are the only source for the community blood supply. Blood supplies are extremely short due, In part to the winter weather, illness and increased demand for blood for accident victims, cancer patients and people undergoing surgery.

Any person 17 or older who weighs at least 110 pounds may be eligible to donate. For additional information call the Red Cross at 331.3783.
