Pet First Aid Course

The Wayne County Chapter American Red Cross is offering a Pet First Aid Course on Monday, April 9 from 6-9 p.m. at the Red Cross office on East Union Street in Newark.

Pet First Aid for Cats and Dogs is a nationally recognized course, for which participants receive lifetime certification. The three-hour course includes: how to recognize an emergency; Standard First, kid techniques for your pet; and hands-on CPR practice for cats and small to large breeds of dogs. The course costs $25 and includes a companion book entitled Pet First Aid, Cats and Dogs.

Class size is limited.
