Newark Chamber offers business award

Students from the Newark/Arcadia area are advised that the Greater Newark Chamber of Commerce deadline for accepting applications for the Chuck Craig Future Civic/ Business Leader Award is May 28.

Seniors may inquire of their guidance counselors, or the Newark Chamber office (203 West Miller St.) for applications. Any senior who hopes their future lies in the business community of Newark, and expects to be involved in the civic responsibilities connected with business, is encouraged to apply.

The student must be a resident of the Newark/Arcadia school district but may attend a school outside of that district.

Applications must be postmarked by Monday, May 28, or hand delivered to the Chamber office.
