Newark winner at Chase-Pitkin

On Mother's Day, Chase-Pitkin had an instant winner on their 2nd Annual Ultimate Outdoors Giveaway.

The lucky winner is Larry Humphres of Newark. He was in Chase-Pitkin to purchase flowering hanging baskets to donate to his church.

When he scratched off his Ultimate Outdoors Giveaway ticket, he won the 15BP Millennium Tractor, a retail of $899. There were 955,355 tickets printed and only five tractors to be given away.

Humphres will be donating the shiny silver Millennium tractor to his church, Calvary Baptist Church on Peirson Ave. in Newark.

Chase-Pitkin will be giving away tractors, 10 gas grills, 20 MTD self-propelled mowers, 50 gas trimmers, 250 hose carts, 5000 bags of Miracle Gro Potting Soil, and the Grand Prize, which is a Winnebago (there will be 20 finalists).
