Burnap's Market will open for season Burnap's Farm Market in Sodus will open for the season on Friday, May 25. Flowers have been growing in the greenhouses since February and are almost ready to find new homes. Not only will the Burnap's have the same wonderful planters and hanging baskets as last year, but Kendra has found some great treasures this winter for flower plantings. Everyone is sure to find something for the patio. If homemade bread and fresh fruits and vegetables are your weakness, visit the store this summer during the lunch hour and try out the 'lite lunches.' Mae will be able to serve you anything from healthy sandwiches to homemade soups, salads and fruit salads. With the beautiful spring that we have had, Burnap's fruits and vegetables are growing at their best. The first crop, asparagus, is in production and we are all waiting for the next, which will be strawberries. Around the second week in June you will be picking and eating juicy strawberries. They are looking forward to a 'hot' summer in order to provide you with your favorite ice cream dessert or the famous Burnap Strawberry Shortcake. Burnap's Baker is hard at work every morning making sure there are always fresh, cookies, muffins, pies and breads available. Stop by Burnap's, Maple Ave., Sodus. Copyright
