Meal service welcomes new volunteers

Home Meal Service of Wayne Co. presents new volunteers:

Caron Clair, Palmyra; Paul Ferindino, Clyde; Glenn and Cynthia Moore, North Rose; Fred Sprout, North Rose; Melvin and Lucille Stickles, Clyde; Maurice and Jeanne Strobridge, Newark.

Meal Service (946.5622) needs volunteers in Newark and in Sodus.

Meals were delivered throughout Wayne County by 270 volunteers: 59 women, 43 men and the balance were teams of two or more. Fifty volunteers went inactive during the year; and 23 percent are seasonal.

Home Meal Service, Inc. is a private, non-profit -organization, even though we occupy Wayne County office space and are known as Wayne County's meals-on-wheels program. It is funded by United Way, government grants, client contributions and private donations.
