Car wash helps Newark work campers

The Newark Park Presbyterian Work Camp group will be holding a car wash at Farrell's gas station on May 26 from 10-1. The price is $3.

Farrell's is located on West Union Street (Route 31) in Newark.

This year's group will be traveling to Mastic Beach, Long Island, where they will be helping to repair and paint houses. This year's theme is: This side of the Big Apple is not always shining.

Proceeds from the car wash will help defray travel costs.

Those attending are: Adam Bald, Zach Bean, Derrick Chappell, Rhonda Everdyke, Patti Lemmon and Stacy Valkenburgh. Chaperones are Glenn Everdyke and Natalie Lemmon.
