Summer intern at Newark P.D.

Kelly Hermenet is a Newark Police Department Intern for the next 12 weeks. She started her duties Monday and will ride with officers, answer phones, and do a variety of other tasks.

Kelly is the daughter of Vern and Sandy Hermenet and will graduate from SUNY Potsdam in December, with majors in criminal justice and sociology. The 1998 Newark High grad wants to be a youth officer or an investigator.

If you see Kelly, welcome her and wish her luck.
