Habitat Walk-a-Thon next week

Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County is planning a walk at 9 a.m. on June 9 at the Perkins School on West Maple Ave., Newark.

The 'WALK-A-THON' event is to raise money and awareness.

The participants will walk from Perkins School to 119 East Maple and return to Perkins School, which is approximately one mile. The money raised from this event will help to build the 13th Habitat house in Wayne County. (The house at 119 East Maple is a Habitat for Humanity House.)
