Holiday greens workshop in Newark What could be better than spending a Saturday morning creating wonderful holiday decorations out of evergreen boughs? Start this season off with this workshop on the selection and use of holiday greens in your home. The workshop is presented by Master Gardeners at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Wayne County on Saturday, Dec. 1. The class fills up fast, so an early pre-paid registration by November 16 is recommended. During a three-hour session, participants will have opportunities to make a fresh wreath, a evergreen swag and a 15-inch tabletop tree to enjoy through the holiday season. New this season, there will be a demonstration on how to make a Williamsburg wreath! Grab your small pruners and call to reserve your place: This workshop will be held Saturday, December 1 from 9 to noon at the Extension office Rt. 88, Newark.
