'Once On This Island' staged in Pultneyville Gatesinger Company Limited is presenting Once On This Island at Gates Hall in Pultneyville. Once On This Island is the story of Ti Moune, a young peasant girl (Hannah Jonasse) rescued from a terrible flood by the gods of her island (Jamal Abdunassir, Michael Brown, Amber Marie Payne and Rae Stanley) and placed in the care of two old peasants (Abby Deen-Clingan and Michael Rehor). As Ti Moune grows into a young woman (Jessica Turner) she dreams of all the exciting places she will go. On a stormy night her fate collides with Daniel Beauxhomme (Eli Gelo) a rich young man from the other side of the island. Amidst the Caribbean beats of the rhythm ensemble (Ethan Rehor, Michael Sensenbach, Jackie Terhune, led by Danny Autovino) and surrounded by the supporting cast (Ashley Antinarelli, Marnie Baxter, Adam Fiegl, Jeanine Follette, Caitlin Gordinier, Deedra Guinup, Ian Johnson, Laura L'Hommedieu, Kate Mulberry, Katie Muto, Jenny Orbaker, Alicia Scahill and Emily Taylor) they will dance their way into your hearts. This play is based upon the novel My Love, My Love by Rosa Guy.
