Missing Sodus
Did you have the chance to see the Meteor Shower? (The idea of getting the kids up and in warm coats at five o'clock in the morning sounded crazy to me, but what a show.) I bet it was pretty over Sodus Point. Betty Everdyke hasn't been feeling well. Betty, get better soon. Hopefully the warm Florida sun will make for a more speedy recovery. And of course a having a nurse like Ralph can only be good. Ralph is very resourceful. Well, now the Christmas season is officially upon us, here are a few cute Holiday stories you can pick up at the libraries:
Mark your calendars: On December 1, Santa will be coming to town. The Sodus Tree Lighting will be in the Village Park at 4 p.m.
The Humane Society of Wayne County has their Tree of Lights for the Animals now through December 24. You can donate in memory of a pet and all proceeds go to the care of the shelter animals. Santa will be arriving tomorrow at the LW Emporium on Knickerbocker Rd. in Ontario. Santa will be arriving by train at noon and will be at the Emporium every Saturday and Sunday from l to 3 p.m. until Christmas. St. John's Episcopal Church in Sodus will have its Holiday Bazaar from l0 to 3 on December 1. The Kraft Shack has yet another creative craft for you to make next Tuesday (November 27) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. They will be making a Snowman Window. You will paint Frosty the Snowman, then add him to a wooden window decorated for the Christmas Season. $24 includes all and please remember to register in advance.
Id love to hear from you. Have a great week and try to get outside while you can enjoy the nice weather. (No frozen fingers when you hang your outside Christmas lights!)
