Humane Society Tree of Lights

Through Christmas Eve, the Humane Society of Wayne County will be celebrating the season with their Tree of Lights.

Furry feline friends are pictured keeping an eye on the tree, before its first bulb was lighted.

For a $5 donation, a light will shine in memory or in honor of a pet; for $10, a light and an ornament will brighten the tree. The ornament will contain your name and the name of your special pet. All ornaments may be picked up at the shelter on or after December 24.

Cards of acknowledgment are sent for each donation; and the pet's name entered in a book of remembrance.

All donations received for the Tree of Lights Celebration go directly to the shelter to cover the costs and general operating expenses in caring for the animals.
