Make an ornament at Arts Council

On Saturday, December 1, the Cider Mill Regional Arts Council in Lyons will have available three artists who will guide you through making holiday creations.

The artists will be creating from 1-4 p.m. at the Erie Canal Cultural Center, 165 Water Street. The cost of making each creation will be a $5 donation to the Arts Council.

The artists include Pat Meyer, who will help with painting an ornament; Kyle Patnaude, who will help you make a holiday treat for the birds; and Anne Salerno, wreath and swag making.

Also available is the Holiday Sale of creations by area artists - artwork and jewelry, decorations and mittens; buy a wreath, a driftwood Santa, homemade soap or Santa cards.

The Holiday Sale is open Wednesday through Saturday from 1 to 4 at the Erie Canal Cultural Center. Come visit on Saturday, do some shopping and make a special Holiday Treat. Fun for the whole family.
