Another snow-free week...for now, we will enjoy the nice days that come our way.

Happy Anniversary to Donny and Melanie Pike on December 1. Donny Pike has a birthday on December 6, so if you see him, say Happy Birthday.

There's a holiday bazaar at St. John's Episcopal Church tomorrow from 10 to 3. Sodus Tree Lighting is tomorrow at 4.

Next Saturday (Dec. 8), there's a Christmas Craft Show at Williamson High beginning at 9 a.m. Free admission, lunch, door prizes. Sounds like great fun.

The Sodus Point Tree Lighting will be next Sunday (Dec. 9) at 4 p.m. Caroling and a surprise arrival (by firetruck) for the kids.

The Kraft Shack has still another fun class Wednesday, December 5 from 6:30-8:30 you can make an Angel Fuzzy Snowman . Sandy says he will melt your heart. He is a soft snowman that looks like he's had a tad too much heat. $24 includes all - please pre-register. Wednesday, December 12, from 6:30 to 7:30, you can bring the kids and make a Christmas ornament. This special ornament is a snowman on a grapevine star. $12 includes all.

Fun at the Williamson Library: On Wednesday, December 12 at 7 p.m., it's BOOK BINGO! Children up to 15 years of age are invited to the library to play and win new books (to keep or give as gifts) and enjoy many wonderful holiday refreshments... all for FREE! No registration is required. Children ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult. There will be more fun things in the weeks to come.

Mark your calendars: The 4th Annual Holiday Fireworks Display in Wallington is Sunday, Dec. 16 at 6 p.m. This year, there will be patriotic music/fireworks as well as Christmas music/fireworks. The addition of music is new this year. Same location - the Wallington Fire Department, Old Ridge Road, Sodus. The display is being co-sponsored by the Wallington FD, the Sodus Emergency Services Council and the Sodus Chamber of Commerce. Many local businesses and organizations make this community event possible through their generous contributions. People should arrive a half hour early because overflow parking is spread out at places adjacent to the firehall.

If you have any fun events you'd like to have mentioned, please write to me and let me know. Write to me at
