Children's entertainment in Lyons

Lyons Public Library is sponsoring Bells and Motley, an olden music and storytelling duo, this Friday, October 19 at 7 p.m. at the Grace Parish House, corner of Geneva and Lawrence Streets.

Sondra and John Bromka, also known as Bells and Motley, are nationally-renowned artists who perform and present early music and culture, especially of the Renaissance. They will present the folk tale 'The Boy Who Went To Visit The North Wind.' In this traditional tale, a poor boy's meal is blown away by the North Wind and cannot be returned. A magic tablecloth, magic donkey and magic stick are gifts offered by the powerful Wind in exchange for the meal taken. Call 946.9262.
