Book donations honor Newark teacher

The Kelley School staff lost a valued colleague and friend, Martha Davis, due to an extended illness this summer.

'The Friends of Martha Davis' have chosen to honor her contribution to the Newark Central School District, as well as to the community, by purchasing a collection of books for the Newark Public Library in her memory.

The Kelley School staff has compiled a list of books for consideration by the Library. The list of books reflects the many interests that Martha Davis lovingly shared with her students. Each book in the Martha Davis collection will be marked with a personalized bookplate.

Anyone wishing to contribute to this project may do so by sending donations to: To the Friends of Martha Davis, c/o Kelley School, 316 West Miller Street, Newark, New York 14513 by November 22.
