Snowmobile grass races this weekend

The Grassfire 500 is being held today and tomorrow at Reitz & Wolcott Rd., in Red Creek. This is the 9th Annual Grassfire 500 Snowmobile Grass Drag Race and Snowmobile Show. The event signals the unofficial kickoff to the snowmobile season.

Gates open at 11 a.m. Saturday and racing begins at 4. On Sunday, gates open at 7 a.m. and racing begins at 11.
