Clothing drive in Newark

St. Michael School in Newark will hold a used Clothing Drive on Saturday, October 27 at 320 South Main St., Newark. Donors may come between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Items being collected are unwanted clothing, shoes, belts, purses, sheets, pillow cases, linens, blankets and drapes.

St. Michael School Men's Club in conjunction with St. Pauly Textile holds this drive. Items will be reused in the United States and third world countries. Profits will go toward small capital improvements in the school building, which will be done by the Men's Club.

Pick ups can be arranged by calling the school. All donations are tax deductible.

For further information call St. Michael School during school days between 8 and 4.
