Lyons School Band Concert

The Lyons Junior and Senior High Bands will perform in the first concert of the year on Thursday, November 1 at 7 p.m. at the High School. The Junior High Band consists of 53 members and the Senior High has 93 instrumentalists in grades 9-12. Both groups are under the direction of Mrs. Camille Clark.

The Junior High's selections include work commissioned by the Penfield Music Commission Project for a Middle School Band and an arrangement of 'You're a Grand Old Flag.' Among other pieces, the Sr. High Band will perform 'The Blue and the Gray,' a saga of songs that were popular during the Civil War.

Band members will be taking orders for their annual Citrus Fruit and Pizza sale through November 1. Orders may be placed with a Band member, or by calling the Music Department at 946.2200 Ext. 2225.

Your fruit order can not be submitted until payment is received. The fruit will be delivered the week of Dec. 9. Place your order now for freshly-made pizzas to be delivered to your door on Sat., Jan. 26, 2002. Payment of the pizza is not due until delivery.
