Computer classes at Lyons Library

During the month of November the Lyons Public Library will offer four computer classes to the public.

On Saturday, Nov. 3 at 10 a.m., a basic Internet class will be held.

A beginning word processing class will be offered on Friday, Nov. 9 at noon.

Prior experience using Microsoft Windows and the mouse is required for both of these classes.

The third class to be offered on Friday, Nov. 16 at noon is called, 'Creating Mailing Labels.' Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word is needed for this class.

'Creating Your Own Personal Web Page' will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. Basic knowledge of word processing and the Internet is necessary for this class.

All classes are two hours and offered free to the public. Jeff Snow, the library's computer services coordinator, teaches the classes.

Registration is required and limited to 4 people per class.
