Art classes for everyone

The Cider Mill Regional Arts Council (Wayne County Council for the Arts) is hosting a large and diverse offering of art classes.

The art classes begin at the pre-school level, and move up to accommodate elementary, middle, home-schooled children and adults. Children may have an opportunity to explore animals, papermaking, treasure boxes, acting or basic cartooning depending on age. The topics for adults include basic oils, sketching, poetry writing, and improvisational acting.

There is a family class and a class on Development Grant writing and fundraising. The classes will be taught by art teachers skilled in their craft and will be held at 165 Water St., in the Erie Canal Cultural Center (a new address for the Art Council).

The Cider Mill Arts Council is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to enhance and enrich life in the region through education and advancement of the arts.

Please call the Council for more information, to receive a brochure and to sign up for a class. The numbers to call are 946.5078 or 946.0360.
