Bring your pet to Marion

If you've been wondering how you could include your pet cat, dog, turtle, ferret, snake or other pet on a family outing, we have just the event for you. Bring the little critters to the pet show!

Junior Girl Scout Troop #416 of Marion is sponsoring the second annual pet show during the Marion Heritage Days on September 22 at 2:30 p.m. The pet show categories are strangest, oldest, fattest, shiniest, and prettiest. Certificates will be given to all entries and prizes will be given to winning pets.

In addition to the show activities, the troop will be selling their own homemade pet treat mix to raise money for an upcoming trip. The registration fee is $3 and you can register any time during the day at the troops sale booth. Call 483.8213 or 926.1979 if you have any questions.

Pets must be leashed and be prepared to clean-up after them.
