Perkins Park Clean-up next weekend

Perkins Park experienced a busy summer. While visitors strolled the grounds, enjoying the amenities there, work has been going on in the background by Village of Newark work crews and Perkins Park committee members, as well as concerned park lovers who have pitched in to help!

There is more to be done, and if you would like to volunteer to help, you can. Saturday, September 29 is Fall Clean Up Day at Perkins Park. Trees need trimming, weeds need a final pull, debris needs to be picked up, and more. Workers will be needed from 8 to noon. Please bring rakes, pruning shears, gardening tools, and meet at the Elmwood Avenue entrance to the park, anytime within the morning hours stated.

Your help is needed and greatly appreciated.
