Local residents gathered in Marion Saturday to celebrate their heritage, and also t heir patriotism.

Heritage Festival events included the running of the Marion Mile; a Three-on-Three Basketball Tournament; a Living history display; authentic civil war re-enactors; music and dancing, a pet show, a talent show and craft booths.
