Red Cross Blood Drives

The following blood drives have been scheduled to be held throughout Wayne County during the month of September. All blood donors are asked to find a time and place to donate blood and help give The Gift of Life. One donation can help up to three people.

• Saturday, September 15, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., First Baptist Church, 100 W. Main Street, Palmyra
• Tuesday, September 18, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Quality Inn, N. Main Street, Newark (open to the public)
• Wednesday, September 19, from 10 to 4, Finger Lakes DDSO - Tymeson Bldg. (DDSO employees)
• Monday, September 24, from 2-7 p.m., Wayne Health & Fitness, West Shore Blvd.  Public welcome.
• Thursday, September 27 from 12:30-6:30 p.m. - Cornell Cooperative Extension, Route 88 and Hydesville Rd., Newark
• Thursday, September 27 from 2-7 p.m. - United Methodist Church, Williamson

If you are at least 17 years old, weighing 110 pounds and are in good health, you can donate blood every 56 days.
