'Spirits of Butternut' auditions planned

Auditions for the dramatic ballad, Spirits of Butternut Street, will be held September 16, at 2 p.m. at the Wayne County Historical Society Museum, Butternut St., Lyons.

The play recounts a fantasy, post-mortal reunion of train robber Oliver Curtis Perry, executed murderer William Fee, murder suspect Georgia Sampson, and legendary Wayne County Sheriff Jeremiah Collins.

The play, written by T. J. Spencer, will be performed on October 25, 26, and 27.
