Missing Sodus Well, the kids have all gone back to school. (I hope you parents controlled your smiles until the bus went past.) Don't forget the 13th Annual Kraft Karnival tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 8) from l0 to 3. There will be many fun and creative crafts to make. Purchase your tickets in advance and save. On Sunday (Sept. 9), the Wallington Fire Department will have its Bog and Grog from noon to 5. Don't miss it. The Apple Shed is open from l0 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. They will have cider and donuts available beginning September 15. For our family, a visit to the Arcadia farm was the Fall custom. Also available throughout September and October, from noon to 5 p.m., are the hayrides. What's fall without a hayride? Have you seen the Miniature Horses at the Apple Shed? Are you really clever? Can you make a Scarecrow? The Apple Shed will be having their 2nd Annual Scarecrow Convention Contest from September 29 through October 31 for more details check out the website. Next weekend is the Pultneyville Community Garage Sale. Head to this beautiful lakeside hamlet on Saturday, Sept., 15, from 9 to 4. The event is a fundraiser for the Pultneyville Historical Society and will include a farm market and flea market. Mark your calendar.
