Pet First Aid Course

The Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross is offering a Pet First Aid Course on Tuesday, April 16 and Saturday, April 27 from 9 to noon at the Red Cross office at 165 East Union Street, Newark.

Pet First Aid for Cats and Dogs is a nationally-recognized course, for which participants receive lifetime certification. The three-hour course includes: how to recognize an emergency; Standard First Aid techniques for your pet; and hands-on CPR practice for cats and small to large breeds of dogs.

The course costs $25 and includes a companion book entitled Pet First Aid, Cats and Dogs.

Class size is limited.
