50-year members at Lyons church
On Easter Sunday (March 31), the Lyons Presbyterian Church recognized four new '50-Year Members.' They are: William L. and Rosalyn Keifer of Lyons, Janet Buell of Clifton Springs, and Zaida Park, also of Lyons. (Photo by Mark DeCracker) The Rev. Cynthia Huling Hummel presented each of them with a special cross, marking their milestone, and thanking them for their commitment and leadership. The church also celebrated all current '50-Year Members': Bud McIntyre, Dorothy Lauster, Joyce Chapin, Eugene and Alta Bullock, Doris Fanning, Helene Santelli, Jane Newman, Anne Blaisdell, Joanne Lauster, Ellie Atkinson, Otto Buckel, Bob Wadsworth, Macie Atkinson, Edna Oakleaf, Shirley Boss, Lila Parker, Leona Manning, Steve Reeves, Ruth Wadsworth, Jean Norton, Isabelle Hartman, Amelia Engels, Shirley George, Harry Chapin, Kay Hurst, Lorraine Wagner, Anne Velotte, Eva Ahrens, Bernice Johnson and Myron Ohmann. A special reception was held in honor of the '50-Year Members.' The reception was organized by the Membership and Evangelism Committee, chaired by Betty Tyler.
