Missing Sodus Won't it be really special when the weather straightens out and the temperatures finally get into the 60's where they belong? That should happen soon. The Spring flowers are trying really hard to find out when they are supposed to make their appearance. News From Florida: Betty and Ralph Everdyke went to the FL Orange Groves and Winery in St. Petersburg. Their motto is: There is not a grape in sight. They make wines out of citrus juices and several other things. They have wine made out of grapefruit, oranges, strawberries, carrots and such. They bought a couple of bottles, just to say they have some to show people. They have one bottle made out of oranges and another out of key limes. (Now you can get drunk drinking your orange juice for breakfast?) The Winery also has a web site www.floridawine.com that may give you more info if you want. (The regular juice is much cheaper than the wine.)

Library News: Happy Birthday Williamson Public Library... 90 years old! Celebrate at the Library April 15-20. A week-long Birthday Bash - party games, crafts and favors! Special Events Monday, April 15 from 3 - 5, with a Birthday Cake Reception for everyone. Tuesday, April 16 at 2 p.m., Jack Porcello with Balloon Sculpting and Stories for families. Wednesday, April 17 at noon - Take a trip to Morocco with Terry Spencer. (Call to reserve a lunch, if desired). Call for more information 589.2048. The Sodus Chamber of Commerce: The Chamber's scholarship raffle is really a great one this year. They have over 50 items to raffle off, lots of dinner certificates to Papa Joe's, Normandy Inn, Nick's restaurant, toy trucks, tool sets, haircuts, briefcase, McCormicks Irish Cream, wine, t shirts and lots more. Tickets are 3 chances for $10 and are available at Tracey Fox Law office, Culligan Water Conditioning or any chamber member. The drawing is next Tuesday (4/9) at the Citizen of the Year Banquet and you need not present to win. All the money raised goes to scholarships for Sodus seniors.

H Kraft Shack News: Monday, April 8, you can make a Lighted Triple Birdhouse Decoration from 6:30 to 9 p.m. You will paint and then decorate three 2x4 birdhouses with grapevines, flowers, birds, lights etc. $29 includes all. Please call in advance to register. The Williamson American Legion will be having a Pancake Breakfast this Sunday from 8 to noon. Then when you've had your fill of pancakes, head to the Sodus Center Fire Hall for a Chicken Barbecue from noon until ?
