Local Turkey Federation holds banquet The Drumlins Chapter of the Nation Wild Turkey Federation held its 7th Annual Banquet/Auction this past Saturday at Marvin's Golf Course and Party House in Macedon. Festivities started at 6 p.m. with a buffet dinner prepared by Burnham's on the Green. Over 110 members and guests attended. Many raffles and games were held throughout the evening. The highlight of the event was the auction of 34 items, many of which are only available at NWTF Banquet Auctions. The Auctioneer was Bernard Brzostek. $20,300 was raised for the Wild Turkey. The Chapter sold 62 Memberships, 20 Women in the Outdoors Memberships, 15 Sponsor Memberships, and 10 JAKES Memberships. 57 Individuals, Businesses, and Corporations donated to the Drumlins Chapter Banquet. A Scholarship of $250 was presented to Jacqueline Leuwen. She is now Qualified to go on to the competition for the New York State Chapter Scholarship, and if successful there, on to the National Scholarship Competition. Drumlins Chapter President/Banquet Chairman Mark Salerno has already booked Marvin's for next year's banquet, which be held April 12, 2003.
