It seems as though Spring has finally sprung! The warmer temps are definitely welcome.

The Sodus Town Chamber of Commerce raised a total of $1400 at their annual Citizen of the Year Award Banquet held Tuesday. All the money raised is earmarked for the scholarship fund and will be awarded in June to graduating Sodus Central School seniors. The Chamber would like to thank the 56 businesses and private individuals who donated items, and the public for showing such strong support.

Primary School News: The Kindergarten Classes went to the Smith Opera House on Tuesday. The First Grade went on a field trip to the Opera House, as well.

More April Birthdays: Happy Birthday to Carol Garland on April l9, Becky Clark on the 21st and Rachel White on April 22.

Speaking of Birthdays: Happy Birthday to the Williamson Library. It's 90 years old! Celebrate @ Your Library April 15-20. A week-long Birthday Bash with party games, crafts and favors! Special events: Monday, April 15 from 3 - 5- Birthday Cake Reception for everyone. Tuesday, April 16 at 2 p.m. Jack Porcello with Balloon Sculpting and Stories for families. Wednesday, April 17 at noon, Take a trip to Morocco with Terry Spencer. (Call to reserve a lunch, if desired). Call for more information 589.2048.

beautiful flowers Kraft Shack News: On Saturday, from l0 to 2, you can join Larry for more Oil Painting. $40 includes all. Please call ahead and reserve a spot for yourself. On Monday, from 6:30-9:30 p.m., you can learn how to paint beautiful roses with the One Stroke Method. $30 includes all. Please reserve. And on Tuesday, April l6, from 6:30 - 9 p.m., you can bring in your favorite photos, and make something special to put them all in. You can learn how to tell a story with your photos. You will be doing several pages, so feel free to bring in many different photos. $25 includes all. Please reserve a space.
