Newark Garden Club and lilacs

Members of Newark Garden Club will be meeting at the Park Presbyterian Church at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 3.

Addressing us will be Robert Hoepfl, former Superintendent of Horticulture at the Rochester Conservatory in Highland Park. He will introduce some lilacs developed in Rochester and give us a brief history of lilacs.

The annual plant exchange will be held at this meeting.

Hostesses are Margaret Buhler and Vicky Munson; flower arrangement by Ella De Cracker.

Guests are welcome.
