Lyons church plans open house
The Lyons congregation of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be holding an Open House on May 5 from 3-6 p.m. The public is invited to attend to see the newly-completed meeting house.
A Family History display will highlight the Open House. Many research tools will be available free of charge to those who are interested in researching their 'roots.' The display will explain why members of the church search out their ancestry.
There will be refreshments following the guided tours, which begin at the rear entrance of the building.
The church is located just south of the village of Lyons, off Route 14, on Sohn-Alloway Road (at the cemetery).
