Missing Sodus

We did indeed go to New York City and had a great time, as you can see we made it back ok. (I was afraid we'd get lost and be wandering around NYC for a long time.)

Did you have the chance to read the article in the Esquire magazine about Andy Simmons? I read the article in last week's Courier-Gazette and asked if my husband had seen the magazine. He just happened to have it in his hand. Congratulations on receiving the Combat Infantry Badge! ( I bet his Mom is proud.)

The Sodus Fire Department Carnival and the Wayne County Firemen's Convention will continue through Saturday (August 3). The Firemen's Parade is tonight at 7 and the fireworks are tomorrow night at 10:30.

The movie at the Great Sodus Bay Screen will be tomorrow night. It's Ghostbusters. Come early and get a good seat. There will be face painting, craft making , challenges, surprises, and raffles. The next movie will be on August 31.

The next concert at Sodus Point is on Sunday (August 4) featuring the Pangaia Steel Drum Band.
