Free programs for schools
To help at a time when most area schools are experiencing the effects of budget cuts, the Wayne County
Historical Society is pleased to offer each of the Wayne County elementary schools a local history program free of charge. Thanks to the support that is given to the Society by the Wayne County Board of Supervisors, area private and public schools may choose a subscription to one of the Pen Pals from the Past letter series, the loan of a traveling trunk, an in-school presentation that have not previously used by that class, or an Erie Canal Tour at no cost to the school.
For a complete description of individual programs, or to schedule a program, please call the Society office, at 946.4943, Tuesday-Friday, 10-4.
