Humane Society has Tree of Lights

From now through Christmas Eve, December 24, the Humane Society of Wayne County will be celebrating the season with the Tree of Lights.

A Christmas tree will be set up in the lobby of the Wayne County Humane Society, and for a $5 or more donation a light will be lit on the tree in honor of your donation.

If you make a $10 or more donation a light will be lit on the tree and a cat or dog ornament will be placed on the tree bearing your name or the name of a special pet.

What about that person who's hard to buy for? Make a donation to the Tree of Lights in their name. Thank you cards of acknowledgment are sent with each donation.

100% of all donations received for the Tree of Lights Celebration go directly to the shelter to cover the costs and general operating expenses in caring for the animals.
