It has definitely been wintry as of late hasn't it. I spoke to Eileen Hooper on the phone the other day and she was saying it was chilly down in Florida. I quickly reminded her how much colder 25 is than the mid 60's. (I guess it's all relative... she said you can tell the tourists from the north because they get excited about 60 degree temps. Actually we can't wait to get out of the big winter coats and just feel the warmth of the sun again.) This month, Eileen is working in the Animal Kingdom at Disney. She's working on the Tarzan show. Eileen does all the characters' hair for them. (Gosh, she must meet a ton of people!)

Happy December Birthdays to Donny Pike, Dec. 6, and Shawna Pike on December 28. Happy belated anniversary to Donny and Melanie Pike (a busy December for them.)

Ralph Everdyke's son, Reginald and his son, Alex went to the Buffalo Naval yard in November with one of the local Boy Scout Troops. Alex is with the Webelos II Cobra Den and they went with Scout Troop 153. A good time was had by all during the trip. Thanks for writing to me and sharing your trip with us. Click here to see photos and read more about the trip.

And, speaking of Boy Scouts, Boy Scout Troop 90 is selling Christmas Trees behind Breen's IGA in Williamson. You can go Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekdays 5 to 8.

Location will be discussed, along with possible field trips to other skateboard parks. Parents, children and other interested parties are invited to the Sodus Point Community Center on Thursday, December 12, starting at 7 p.m. (Thanks, Ruth.)
